I use fix-a-flat type stuff in most of my cars. Very rarely do I have a flat, but on the one or two occasions when I've had a problem the stuff worked to get me to where I was going, or at least to a pit stop. 
I think I've handed my can in the trunk to probably two dozen people whom I've come across who needed a hand and it worked for every one of them that I know of....
Plus son't you have roadside assistance with your MBZ?

Fix a flat
Thankx for the response. Did you use the tirefit MB can in the trunk, or some other generic brand fix a flat?
After using either of the above, when you ultimately plugged the tire, did you have to clean out any residual fix a flat stuff so the tire could be balanced?
Did you have to clean also clean the wheel?
Do you know if the spare tire doughnut from an SL500 will fit the SL55? I don't know why it would not fit.

2020 S560,14 ml350, 03 sl55, silver, pano, slr cams, evo headers, lsd, 2019 s63 cab.
i looked in my 03 sl55 trunk and found a jack but no pump or tire fit can. i called my friend in service at dealer and he was advised that there is not provisions for fixing a flat. nothing? i put my own can of fix a flat in the trunk. did anyone else at least get a can of tire fit or a pump system? haven't had a problem yet but was wondering. thanks
