2007 SL55 orders? deliveries? when?
Anyone know when they will start taking orders on 2007 SL55's and when they start planning on deliveries?

Car will probably be here june/july so ordering should be around april/may. I would try to see if you can put a deposit to lock in a spot know. you should be able to get a little discount, not much is changing, for the sl550 a dealer offered me a nice discount for a client.

They're my nearest dealer. I live about 5 mins away.

FJ do not have the best deals...A starbucks and a golf course maybe...but I've been to 10 dealers in the LA area and can tell you first hand that Fletcher may have the most cars and highest volume #'s but will not budge on the higher line benzes compared to a few others...PM me and I will tell you the big 3 salesmen who go back and forth trying not to loose a deal to one another...I got over 25K off a 102K 05 SL and it was not a bad color (Brill. Silver). I even have a friend of my parents who is a SM over at FJ and he couldn't get the GM to match the other's prices on good colors.

The only reason I'd go to FJ if the price was higher is because I've heard from friends w/ late model MBs that if you didnt buy it at FJ, they don't exactly treat you well. But now that I'm living in Irvine, I'm just as close to Caliber in Anaheim and MBLN.
I'll bite though and PM you. I don't want to be taken hostage by FJNB. I take my old 420 there for service and I'm not 100% happy with them.

2004-SL55 & 2005-G55 - BOTH BLACK OF COURSE!
Placed my order today for 07 SL55. Delivery is expected not later than first week of May, cars are already in production. 07 has true black nappa leather available, real carbon fiber dash and a great perfomance package to look somewhat like the SL65. might even get lucky and have ipod interface and bluetooth in place, but nothing firm on that as of yet.
one new feature I am excited about is actual paddles for the shifters instead of the buttons.....

We'll see. I'm going to give them a try. I'd like to buy it there, and have it serviced there w/o being given a rough ride for having bought elsewhere.
