OK, so I had to "contact the seller" and see what he was thinking.. 
Emphasis mine.. 
Yes, i do have the orginal wheels of the car, and almost new condition. It's just a Badge, wanted to upgrade the engine to V12 but did not.

I asked him if it was a special SL55 w/ a V12 and complimented him on the idea of saving the original hood from wear by temporarily putting on a "cheaper SLK" hood.
He replied that it's just a badge and that it wasn't a cheap hood.

You can learn a lot about someone looking at what he buys on ebay. This guy buys a lot of cheap gems and "fake" designer stuff.

He'll get more money putting the old hood back on, spending $150 and getting his car detailed and cleaned .. and putting some air freshener in there to get the smell of road kill and marijuana out.

I HAD to go on ebay and check this out, right below it is this gem. I hope the link works, if it doesn't type in SL 55, its a black '04. It says... SL 55 CLONE... what is it with people cloning cars? Well, at least this one does not have mink fur seat belts, V12 badge on top of the V8 Kompressor... and the rear AMG exhaust actually looks pretty good. He should have left it as an SL500... no need to label it to be something that it's not. It's OK to upgrade, but don't change the label! 
Oh forgot, should not put on fake badges too... That's a normal V8, not V8 Kompressor...

If he put that much work in it, why in the world did he forget the rear tail lights? come on.. all that work to perfect an SL55 clone without the taillights.. tsk tsk.. bad ricer.. bad..
