SL55/63/65/R230 AMG: Order'd the SL

Order'd the SL
I have been out today and ordered the SL65 
AMG. now heres the catch haha. my girlfriend has decided to have my Eclass and and her M5 imported to britain (where i work alot and used to live) and she wants the SL65 imported there. as we have both decided to live there permenantly and come back to iowa every now and then for a holiday and to see the ol' folks ... so lucky for me i have had a word with mercedes and told them of my situation and i have just spec'd up a euro spec SL65 (i dont know if they're any different, i know a euro and a us spec BMW are different.) and the SL 65 will arrive shortly in England for me to pick up so pic's will be available as soon as the car gets here !

well when i sat and spec'd one up at the mercedes showroom today we basically got in touch with one of the dealerships close to the location i am moving to. we already have a house in that area on account of me working the UK so much. so all we have to do is sell this house and things here. and the M5 and the Eclass isnt too much to import. and the Mercedes will be english which is cool 
so the duty is nothing more than what a usual english guy would pay for the new 2006 SL. so all in short i spec'd one up in iowa, we've sent that spec to the UK dealership and they`ve ordered it for me...
