SL55/63/65/R230 AMG: newbie with questions please help

newbie with questions please help
hi guys let me first say what a fantastic site,great to navigate and fantastic help to us merc owners here in the uk as we dont really have a site as good as this in the uk,have not owned a amg merc for 3 years since i sold my w211 e55 which i have missed alot,but in the last two weeks have bought a new sl55 with nearly every option fitted and a 3 year old ml55 with only 10k on it and as new,my question to you really helpfull bunch is the wheels on the sl are the standard multispoke style 5 wheels and are a sod to keep clean so iam thinking of putting on a set of 19" style 3 wheels but does this upset the ride quality and handling if so would i be better off putting on a set of 18" style 3 wheels keeping the same tyre size etc,also concerned about ride height with 19" will the car look more jacked up.Really would appreciate some help.

the ride difference between 19-18 is minimal, actually you'll probably like the 19's betters as it should have less sway. as for the wheel well gap, it will be the same as the overall diameter of the tire will not change. good luck and congrats.
