First Nice day of the year!! Gtech Runs
Yesterday was the first nice weather day of spring for me this year. Temps were at around 75-78 degrees, very sunny. I decided to put the top down on my Renntech SL600 and go out for some 0-60 mph tests with my Gtech. I have the Renntech ECU upgrade and Renntech 20 inch wheels (255/30/20 fronts, 305/25/20 rears). Tires are Continental sport contact 2s. Top was down, car was in sport mode, and traction control was on for all runs. Road was straight and level, regular street asphalt, no traffic on this road. My 3 best runs were as follows:
3.911 seconds
3.965 seconds
4.043 seconds
(I had a 4.208, and 4.174 as my other runs)
First obvious thing I noticed was the more the traction control kicked in the slower the times were. I didnt feel like dying so I decided to keep the traction control on the entire tme and modulate the throttle as best I could to keep it from engaging. Every run I had the traction control did engage at least slightly, so I know times could get better with a "perfect run." These times are more what I could duplicate fairly regular on the street though.

I took the Murci out today for some 0-60 runs. Car is stock with Egear transmission. Just barely beat out my Renntech SL600 on the best run. Renntech SL600 is awesome.
