Thumbs up BMW Z6 and 997 Targa & GT3 RS

It seems BMW will be releasing within the next 2 years an SL competitor, to be called the Z6, and will at first have upgraded versions of the all-new twin turbo V6, and the almost 5.0 liter V-8, and M versions which will also be upgraded. Heard rumors it might have a twin-turbo V-8, or a super version of the M5/M6 V-10, maybe supercharged, etc...

It will ofcourse have incredible handling, more sporty side than pure luxury. By the time it gets going and many are on the road here, Benz will unleash the all-new SL, which supposedly will be much more aggressive in terms of looks, handling, power, presence, etc. even than the current SL (Don't forget there will probably be an SL 69 AMG and also probably a successor to the SL 65 twin-turbo V-12, maybe they'll call it an SL 73?). This is gonna be great

And soon Porsche will release the 997 targa in 2 and 4 wheel drive, and the GT3 RS ... pretty cool.

The Z6 looks nice, never liked the 996/997 Targa's.

The new 6 Series is a joke and an embarassment to its heritage, IMHO. Targa looks cooooool.

I hope the Z6 will be a conv. hard top. The "rag top" on the 6-series has removed it from my list of cars I'm considering. Heck, even Pontiac has a car w/ a conv. hard top.
