Hissing Sound After Shutoff
Does anyone else have a hissing sound coming from their engine area after turning it off? I'm having a hissing sound lasting about 20 seconds after shutting down. The sound is similiar to leaking air. Could it have something to do with the supercharger releasing pressure?

SL55 has ABC I thought?
Either way, I wouldn't worry about it, if you really think it's abnormal record it and let us listen to it

I hear the same thing in my SL5, so it might just be an SL
thing. I was curious as to what it was. Whatever it is, it
certainly does intimidate friends. One of my friends said
my car was hissing at him like a snake, and I told him its

ABC is correct. Don't worry about it, it actually sounds kinda cool. Like the "beast" is cooling off. I love SL's.
