Illuminated Door Sills
When building an '07 AMG SL you can add illuminated door sills from the accesories list.
The door sills don't say AMG!!! they say Mercedes.
Buyers Beware.

I brought this up a few months ago and have not heard any resolution to the question.
Also, if you go to the AMG site, there is an option for non-illuminated AMG sills for 2007 but not illuminated.
When I asked my dealer, they were unsure.
When I asked formymercedes.com, they were unsure.
When I asked SteveNL, he was unsure.
When I asked AMG through repeated emails, I got no answer (figures)
I know there is a change in the door sill on the 2007 with chrome instead of plastic. Maybe that has something to do with it.
When I go to AMG in Germany next month I will try to get the answer...and Ill pick up the blue AMG illuminated sills from them if I can.

Finally got in touch with AMG through email and they said that there should be no difference between the MY 2006 sills and the MY 2007 ones. I pointed out that the AMG website gives different part numbers, but he didnt respond to that specifically. Im not sure how much I believe them. but Im going to take a risk and get them.
