Euro Comand All Funky
OK, the EURO COMAND that SteveNL installed for me is all funky now.
DETAILS:
1. Sometimes it just won't turn on. I have shut down the engine of the the car a couple of times and pray it rights itself. Sometimes that works, sometimes it doesn't.
2. Sometimes the unit won't turn off. All the buttons except the volume are inoperable. If I add a CD/DVD it seems to come back to life, but if a CD/DVD is already in the unit it won't eject.
3. I can't dial into a exact radio stations at all. I can only scan and save.
Before I go to the dealership, anyone have any advice?

............might wish to avoid going to the dealer. At best they will replace your comand and your Euro Comand will be gone. It won't be under warranty since it is a non-US spec comand.
.............You may wish to contact Steve but like I've said in the past, the nature of the long distance transaction with Steve makes it hard for you to get a timely resolution.

Ian, maybe you can ask Rick Reus to see if he's got some software for you. He can replace the head unit, sure he's got some clue as to what's going on.
