Having a problem with my 2004 SL55.
I cant get the top to go back up.
I try to put the top up and it gives me the error:
"Raise Roll Over Bar"
I try to raise the roll over bar with the button in the middle console, and I hear it click and all, but still the error persists.
Car is stuck in the garage in until Monday I guess, when the dealership opens again.
Anyone had similar problems?

I had something like that happen. It just needed to be reset. Also make sure that the roll bar is fuly up or down.

Yup, I had the same issue, they replaced the "roll-bar sensor" in my car, or so I was told.

I'm not positive that using the "kick" technique will solve the problem but I would recommend that taking it into your local MB dealership would be the most suitable action.Originally Posted by ricky.agrawal
