"tjiip" noise fram the rear?
Hallo out there! This is my veryfirst time in this forum. (former C6 and M3 owner) If my spelling is bad depens that I´m from Sweden. I hope you can help me anyway.
My SL55 AMG have a "Tjiiip" noise from the rear when I drive from the first gear. Have any of you the same problem and what could it be ?

tjiip noise from the rear
Hi there long time from when you posted this but did you get the bottom of this?
I had I think a similar problem. My noise seemed to be in sync with the rotation of the rear wheels. If I pushed the car in neutral the click or tjiip was the same. I took the wheels off checked the tires and around the brakes couldn't find anything also looked around the axle but of course most of that is enclosed.
I drove the car to the agent but the noise went. Good in one way but the click had a metalic ring to it and after the problems (sl55 2004 F1 safety car spec..10k miles) I've had so far with this car makes me worried for the future. .
