I'm second on the list at Lagna Nigel for a SL55 . There are no delivers scheduled as of yet and they are very very reluctant to discuss any pricing. They only took three deposits and were warned by management/legal counsel to seize over a year ago from taking any more deposts on SL55s. The earliest anyone can expect delivery on a SL55 is late fourth quarter and the dealership has not determined what their pricing policy is going to be on the SL55s. Apparently there are some yahoo's running around Southern California offering dealerships $50k + over sticker but who knows if they'll be around when the cars arrive and if they even really exist . There is a lot of hype going around these days and only time will tell. If the dealerships get greedy they will damage some very loyal customer relationships.

Don't call the dealerships greedy and don't think for a minute they care about hurting loyal customers. Eventually when you want an MB you'll have to go back to them. MY point above was that we don't need to advertise they're asking prices and where the cars are. The idiots who have the money to pay 50K over msrp don't need help finding the cars and you are only fueling the hype to help the dealers get that kind of money. Didn't you see that the E-Bay cars did not sell at 179K because the idiot dealer wanted 185. Give me a break, if you're netting $52k over the sticker price on the car and got the car direct from MB, add the profit of that on top of 52, you mean to tell me you're going to hold out for another 6 grand.
