SL55/63/65/R230 AMG standing start launch problem on 2003 SL55

2019 S63,2015 SL63, 2007 SL55, 2006 SL55, 2003 SL55

standing start launch problem on 2003 SL55

If not sure if this is a problem or if they all do this but when I floor the car from a stop it starts to launch but probably detects wheel spin and it feels like the cars hesitates quite a bit before resuming to accelerate.

1. Is this normal
2. Is ther a better way to launch the car faster

It seems to be the same in both the standard and sport mode on the transmission.

turn off ESP ... then try it again ..
