Red 03 Sl 55
2 weeks ago I met a gentleman at Pompano MB in Florida, who had just purschased a Red 03 SL55 from someone in Chicago, I spoke to him for a while about his car, real nice guy. I am sure he lives in south florida, anyone know him?

don't know him, but wow....
i remember when red was the "in" colors for porsches back in the 80's, and even some bmw's and others (including some honda's).
nowadays, it seems likes only ferrari's are red.
is this all from lack of demand? or is it no red cars because if people don't see it in the dealership, people don't choose that color?
when we look back 10 yrs from now, are people going to say that about silver - how every 3rd car i see are silver?

speaking of RED...have you guys seen that mercedes comercial where they first show all the different mercedes models in two columns all in silver and then at the end theres santa in the RED SL55...i'd love a red SL55 after seeing it in that ad

Hey Blazinginder, I love that photo of your white/stone SL, in fact looking at it a thousand times finally made me also buy a White/Stone SL, I just changed the stock wheels out to 20" Chrome, If I can figure out how to post photos I will add them to the picture thread. The Gentleman I inquired about was really excited about his SL55, and I was sorry I was in a rush to leave the dealership without exchanging contact info.

05 SL 55 AMG, 01 Turbusa/8.43 @ 183..1/4 mi.
Lots of cars are slower than a SL55.........
