Adam,

You and I need to meet someday........we both have the same occupation and we both have been blessed to do well..........

The difference between success and failure in the automotive business is tied up with how well you back your product.

We Guarntee Results, or it is on Us...........

You and Renntech have met all my needs and I will look forward to giving you feedback on the I.C/Pump install.....

Dave

Treynor/Adam

So for this 650rwhp or 660rwhp what all are you doing? I know you have the renntech ecu and airbox. What is your rwhp now? So you are going to add the exhaust, dual tb and that will get you the 650-660rwhp? Adam chime in and fill me in on what it takes to get that much power.

Treynor, I work in Emeryville. Any way we can get together so I can hear the exhaust??? I've been thinking about doing the same.

Thanks,

Scott

that should silence the people saying RENNtech airboxes are for style and not power.

I am sure you can get something but 40rwhp is wishfull thinking and damn is that airbox expensive. I don't get why benz would limit the airflow so much either.

Treynors ECU/TCU is getting a quick update from Renntech at this moment. Sorry for the wait guys. We are trying to be as comprehensive and detail in the report before we post.

one thing for sure adam will not give you a car that is not 100% so if it takes a extra day or even a week at least i know i dont have to keep goin back to try and fix. when he put my car on the dyno it threw a tranny error code so he stoped called me and said he would take it to the dealer to fix it if i wanted but it would take a day or two. of coarse when i got the car it worked perfect.

In my case, the 'before' dyno indicated that something was amiss - there are enough different ways for the SL65 to silently decide that all is not well and drop HP that it requires some investigation. Euroelites hasn't even begun to work on the car yet; I expect they'll take only a day to install the exhaust once the current issue is sorted out.

My guess: yet another of the 5 (yes, 5) air pressure sensors in the intake has gone kaput.

How much power did you lose? Is this a common problem? Does the car feel slower or is it just when its on the dyno you can tell? Why no cels to warn about the sensor going bad?

Let's set the record straight. No one ever challenged the power delivered by the Renntech CF Airbox for the V12 engine. The airbox in question is for the V8 supercharged cars.

If i got a 40whp bump I would buy one but for 15hp at the crank it seems like too much $$.

So has this still not happened yet?

I have a friend with an SL65, I own an SL55, and another friend with an SL55, we would all be interested in this exhaust ... right now this is a JOKE to me ... where are the results? video/sound clips?

Why would I go through with this, or refer anyone to get it if it takes weeks and weeks to get done?

The auto tuning market is very competitive, if you arn't on the ball you get left behind.

Like Ben says in his previous post, we are working to get the current issues resolved before installing the exhaust.

Hey Adam,

I know this is a little off topic, but do you happen to have a Dyno of the same 55 car before and after the Renntech CF airbox so that we can settle this once and for all?
