I am experiencing a mechanical 'grinding' sound after braking ie as I am lifting off the brake pedal. Does anyone have any ideas as to what it could be? There is also a noticable whistling sound both at idle and when moving but it appears to be audible (at least when idle) from within the car! Thanks guys.

I beleive there is a TSB out about this. Common problem. Easy fix from what I hear, however, the problem re appears after a while. Call your service dept., I bet they will know exactly what you are talking about.
