Hi folks,

I was just browsing the current 2007 SL-Brochure and found the following information about the interior leather: On page 38, it says "INTERIOR LEATHER UPHOLSTERY, available in Leather and Exclusive Leather." Below, it shows the color samples (Ash, Stone, Red and Black). On the bottom of the page, it says "Exclusive Leather standard on SL600 and SL65 AMG. Optional on SL550 and SL55 AMG."

On page 44 under "SPECIFICATIONS AND EQUIPMENT", "Seating", it shows again an option for the SL550 and 55 AMG "Exclusive Leather....". Obviously, this is not designo.

So I'm curious, what is "Exclusive Leather" since I don't know an option like that, neither for the SL550 nor the SL55...

it is softer, smoother, more buttery soft leather...pretty nice stuff

Thanks! That would tell me the difference between these 2 kinds of leather, but I'm still wondering what "option" (as mentioned in the brochure) would bring the Exclusive Leather to the SL550 and SL55...?
