I finally pushed the car hard enough to make the roll bar pop up. I didn't need that extra burst of excitement as I floated down on the backside of a rise on the road, waiting for the tires to touch down again...

It also took me a while to figure out how to get it down again.

It's nice knowing the car is looking out for me so well...

How do you get it down. The roll bar that is.

I assume the normal roll bar lowering button would work...not sure since in this case it popped up in an emergency.

No ... I've done it before, the only way to do it is have it reset at the dealership because it locks into place

I have also done that once before. I almost wet my pants when it slamed up behind my head as i was drifting on a parkinglot..
I didnt have to take it to the dealer. If i remember correctly I just pushed the rollbar up button for a few seconds then i could lower it.

That's not correct. You have to hold the "rollbar up" button pressed until it clicks and the up/down mechanism is connected to the rollbar again and then you can get it down with the "rollbar down" button.

I had it once when I drifted over trolley-tracks on an empty intersection.

Sprins is right, push the up button until it reengages the bar, then the down button...
