I own SL55 2004 and my gas tank had (gargling noise) a problem that lots of people complained about on this site. The dealer replaced it and the sound went away. After about 7 months a new sound appeared from the gas tank -- constant high pitch whistle (sound tone stays the same while driving)

The sound only comes on when the car is running and goes off when you press break pedal during driving.

Again, dealer confirmed the sound and replaced the gas tank, although the same sound is still there.

Now I am not sure what to do? Do they need to replace this tank as well? Did anyone have a similar problem? I've searched the forum and most people complain about gargling noise but nothing of the sort that I am experiencing.

The high pitch whistling noise annoys the hell out of me. The car was at the dealer for 3 days, maybe they are looking at the wrong place?

Please help.
