Another Crankshaft Pulley Question
As I mentioned in this post on the W211 AMG forum (https://mbworld.org/forums/showthrea...96#post2068596) I purchased an SLR crankshaft pulley, planning to upgrade my 2003 SL55.
To my surprise, both the SLR pulley and my stock pulley have the same diameter across the outside lip: 6 3/16 inches.
Do any of you know, or would you be willing to measure, the diameter of your crankshaft pulley?
I'm wondering if all the 55K engines have the same pulley diameter as the SLR, or if the pulleys vary by model and/or year manufactured.
