SL55/63/65/R230 AMG: SL65/55 clock...
On my '06s it's done via COMAND. Use the SERV button. On the S you then use the System menu and get to Time. On the C there's a Time menu directly after pressing SERV. I have no idea what it's like on your car, but explore the COMAND menus.
2005 SL55 Time Adjust
OK. I will help you out.
I have done mine a bunch of times now.
2 Ways to do it.
From the steering wheel buttons or via the command console.
Since the daylight savings time is all weirded out with the changes this year
I suggest using the steering wheel buttons.
Left hand buttons below the arrows.
Left button. Hit it 4 times. Should say settings.
Hit the up arrow. You should see the time.
DO NOT SYNC WITH HEAD. Or it will change it when it thinks when daylight savings is. Which is wrong with the new time change dates.
Go to the hour/minute. Make changes with the volume on the right hand buttons on the wheel.
This should get you close enough you can hack your way around.
If you still cant hack your way on the wheel buttons. Send me a PM
and I will walk you through it on the phone.

Can't you synch with the head unit and manually set the time zone / DST setting? That works on my COMAND. The big advantage: accuracy. The GPS time signal is accurate to within a few nanoseconds, so you know if your clock moves to 6:00 a second before the network news starts, it's because they're late. It's kind of cool to know that your dashboard time is maintained by 27 orbiting atomic clocks with relativistic correction. Why would you settle for anything less?
I left mine "off the sync" because it changes with the old
daylight savings dates. After you adjust it it goes back
to what the GPS and the Command software think for
time/date/location.
So it was off an hour for those extra few weeks.
And will be off a few weeks when we do it again in October.
Benz needs to patch the command for the new daylight savings dates.

Maybe its different in the 06.
Its smart and gets the date and the DST variable from memory.
You set it and it changes back on its own. Its too smart. Next start up it goes back.
It needs a firmware change to correctly adjust for the new DST dates.
