Well I finally peeked in my tool kit. The manual says there's supposed to be a screwdriver, two open end wrenches, universal pliers but I have none of that. Only fuses, an eye bolt, and a tire change bolt. I asked the dealer and he said there's a difference between American and European cars re the toolkit, and to not worry and just use teleaid anyway.
Well, I'd like to have the proper wrenches but don't know which ones. I think 10 mm is one but not sure. Anybody know? Also any other recommendations for tools appreciated.

Unfortunately your dealer is correct. There is the eye bolt that is used to tow the car, the alignment tool to help in changing the tire or as you called it the tire bolt, some fuses and the most important tool the off white gloves. Again unfortunately the dealer is probably right in saying call telaid or MB roadside assistance. In all likelihood if the car dies on you it will be the electronics that go and mechanical tools will not be of any assistance.Originally Posted by rebel823

From what I remember on the older Benz's there was the reversible screw driver (phillips and flat blade, the adjustable pliers, 3 open end wrenches ( 10mm and 11mm, 12mm and13mm and 15mm and 16mm) fuses and the wheel alignment tool. If you are going to try and outfit one on your own, I would also get a torx screw driver set since torx screws are common on these cars.
also, i have yet to find the can or tire fill that is supposed to have been in my trunk. anyone have one in a secret hiding place not easily found in the trunk?

Just remove the floor in the trunk. (The second floor that has room for an spare tire.)
Its there under the gastank.
Just lift up the floor, no screws or nothing.
thank you for the reply. after looking deeper into the trunk up behind the jack i found the tirefit can. something i hope never to really need.
