engineering mode hidden menu on 05 sl55
I know this has been beaten to death.
However I could not find the info I needed or even if it is possible.
So, how do you get into the engineer mode on the command for a 2005 sl55.
Can this give me the ability to watch DVD's?
What are the functions that can be changed in this menu?

access engineer menu
To access the menu, Push and hold MUTE-1-3-9 for three seconds. This will bring you into the system menu for the comand system. There is NO WAY of enabling the DVD video image on US based comand systems only the European comand has this ability. 
There are numerous companies on the net that offer an after market solution such as nav-tv at a cost of $1500. Hope this helps.
