70-0 in 175 ft. (very poor showing considering that the SL500 took only 155 ft.)
Actually, only the ML500 has done worse (183 ft.) in this braking test of all the recent MBs tested by Car and Driver. Nearly outbraked by an SUV! Say it aint so!

the german magazine "auto, motor & sport" tested the new S600 in his current issue.
still waiting that the article goes online, but what really impressed me was the 0-100 km/h time of this 5,13m long luxus-liner:
4.5sec !!
they wrote the acceleration was so smooth, without extreme noise and smoking tyres, just pure power!
