What is the Best Place to sell an 04 SL55?
Its on ebay and cars and I put it up on the classifieds of this site.
Its a beautiful example and it has less than 14K miles.
Are there any other MB forums out there?
Anywhere else?

Car Whore
How much are you looking for though? I honestly wouldnt pay more than $72,000 now a days. If you trade it in, a dealer will probably give you around $65,000
I know its hard to hear, but if you need to sell it you are probably are going to lose money on it.

The Pain
I bought my 05 SL55 with 20K Miles for $ 85K a year ago.
Shopped for months.
Mines worth about $ 75K now with 30K miles. Maybe less.
Low miles is nice. But time is ticking on your warranty too.
If you can find the right buyer and this can take months.
You might get lucky.
To turn it quick. You will take a hit on that price.
Out here in Cali. Lots of SL55`s. So my perspective may be different.

Coffee and Cars and selling your car
I friend of mine Gary "03CL55AMG" brought his low miles
perfect shape CL55 to the Coffee and Cars weekly Saturday meet.
And after a few weeks. Found a buyer who was a collector and paid
the price he was looking for. Kind of similar to what your position is.
There is a long thread in here where a bunch a guys tell him his price was
way too high. But he got real close to what he wanted pricewise.
Note: His was CPO to 100K Miles and had High "teen" number miles too.
If I remember he wanted $ 66K and sold for $ 62K after a couple months.
Maybe its worth a early morning drive to Irvine ??
Lots of high end people milling around for a hour or 2. 7:00 AM to 9:00 AM

Hi Murtaza
I shopped my butt off last year. Miles were high but car was perfect.
Saddly. No CPO on mine.
CPO cars were going for almost 100K back then.
It was a lease Car that some RE Sales girl had.
She hit the miles cap on the lease in 11 months. 20K miles.
It was all freeway miles from OC to La Jolla every day.
I have been lucky so far. Car has been flawless.
Just tires so far.

Enjoy the move up to AMG.
Enjoy the chase.
I think shopping is a big part of the "Experience".
Talked to Vadim just before he left MBLN. He said he was getting calls from Mortgage guys and RE people bailing on their AMG leases early.
So now should be a good time to find a 05 or 06 off lease locally.
Make sure you drop a note when you get your new baby !!!!
Hope the OP gets lucky and finds a buyer for his 04 !
