SL55/63/65/R230 AMG: Traded My M6 for an '05 SL65

The car is now somewhere in the midwest in an enclosed auto transport truck. The company is called Fedex Passport. They seem good, Barrett-Jackson Auctions uses them.
I'd been looking for quite a while for my SL65. E-bay always has a few listed, but not many sell. Reserve is too high. I found mine on Autotrader. I bought it from FJ Chicago with almost 3 years of warranty left. Buying from a big MB dealer certainly gives a level of comfort not found through a private sale or a used car dealer. That doesn't mean I trust them, but it's better than the alternative. I did a carfax check and my brother in Chicago did an inspection and test drive. It's hard to imagine buying a luxury car sight unseen. Things can be hidden in pictures and if they claim that it doesn't have a smokers smell or worse
and it does when you get it. What you gonna do? Buyer beware and assume the owner is not telling you everything. Here's a couple of pic's of the M6 I sold. It was nice with alot of techno features but I hated the tranny.
