Ceramic Brake Pads
Looking for a ceramic brake pad for the sl55. tire reack has them but someone had complaints about akebono pads. any one seen PBR pads for the sl55? i want to cut down on the dust. thanks

The best pads for stopping and decreased dust that I ave found are from Porterfield. It is their R4S, or RS4 (I forget which way it goes) compound.

Several MB's Superperformance MK III Cobra
Please no flames!!! My daughter has a BMW 330Ci and the brake dust on her car was horrible. I put Akebonos on about 2,000 miles ago. The brake dust is almost non existent and the pedal feel is about the same as stock pads. Based on this experience I would recommend them.
