What mods are available for an SL 600
Hi All,
I am being offered a very good deal on a new 2007 sl 600. What mods are available to bring it up to snuff. I live in the Chicago area and I'd like to deal with a local tuner. The alternative is to buy a low-mileage SL 65. FWIW, I'm currently driving slightly modified 2004 Porsche Turbo-cab, but I'm ready for a move.

There are a couple of mods available for your car.
a) ECU tune
b) EGS reprogramming (TCU, with M mode available)
c) Camshafts
d) Intercooler conversion (in the works)
e) Bigger TB (in the works)

Horsepower: 132 hp on the crank
Torque: 155 lbs ft on the crank
EGS mod: M mode available, quicker shifts, ESP light timing delayed *race use only*
SL 65
Gain in performance:
Horsepower: 64 hp on the crank
Torque: 102 lbs ft on the crank
EGS mod: quicker shifts, launch mode (on rolling start) available *new feature*
