'08 Sl55, Wow!
I picked up my new ride this morning, black/stone no distronic, all other options. I had been trying to work out a deal on an AM Vantage but it fell through and I am ever glad it did
What a fantastic car! You guys already know this, but the combination of raw power, handling and luxury is fantastic. I had been planning on trading my S550 for the CL63 but this is THE car I have been looking for. I personally love the color combination, it was my first choice, and what a great exhaust note
It's only been one day, but it was a BLAST to get a taste of what you guys already know about these cars. As soon as my 65 wheels come in next week, I'll post some pics.

congrats rodney, Im glad you took my advice and went with the 55, i told you the exhaust was great. Im just shocked that you would by a brand new one esp after losing 30K in a year on the s550. Good luck its an awesome awesome car. The AM is nice and flashy, but just fold that SL top in a crowd and you'll get more ooo and ahhh than you've ever heard, honestly last sunday it started raining in the middle of my drive to lunch and i put the top up at a stoplight, all the people around me were just in awe it was awesome.

This has been more fun to drive than anything I've owned since I drove my first 911 years ago. So far...! Oh, and the S550 didn't quite cost me 30K, but what it did cost was worth every penny to end up here

It took a while, but here it is. Had to get a shot or two of the Gl as well. If you squint, you can see 2 of my boys on the porch, Vizsla and Weimaraner; at least one is German.

Awesome car!!! I would also like to know of any reliable AMG tuners. My guess would be Houston as well. What part of S. Louisiana are you from?
