Hi all,
Well, I was wrong. For years I have told people that we bought the SLK as it was half the cost of the SL but the SL was not twice the car that SLK was. I admit it, I was wrong. I got behind the wheel today and I know they call our E55 the beast but this car was just amazing. I love the pick up and the breaking system. The whole thing is just WOW. The only quibble I have with the car ( other than the COLOR, Wolf) is the stereo system. It's not a very good system for the car it sits in.

Stereo is terrible imho. You are correct. I for sure though they were going to upgrade it for 2007 but that never happened. It is likely the worst offered in any high end mb right now.

Still just put the top down and enjoy the sound of the NASCAR V8 errr i mean V8 Kompressor.

I've heard the sound system in the AMG CLS/ML/E; the one in the SL is a lot better imo.

Generally speaking, it does the job for me

Put Kleeman headers on it and you won't care about the stereo one bit.

Juice it

Burn an MP3 dvd of all your songs, it sounds 100 times better than the radio.

What year is the car or what system do you have in it? I have the Bose system and it's awesome.
