Extended warranty on a '04 SL55?
I'm thinking about getting either an '04 or '05 SL55, but reading about the questionable reliability and the expensive repairs, I want to make sure the car I get is either already under warranty or can get the extended warranty for a reasonable price.
So what's the story on the '04s? Reading on mbusa.com, it seems like only MY05 and forward are eligible for the extended warranties. Is that always the case? Or is that just because most of those cars are now out of their original warranty and you can't add extended if you let the original warranty lapse?
