sl65 (or 030 pp) rear bumper question.
Ok, on the sl65 (or 030 perf.pkg) rear bumper there's a mesh-type insert that's incorporated into the bottom half between the exhaust tips. The standard '03-'06 AMG rear bumper appears to have the same indentation but it containes a flat black insert, rather than mesh. So.. can the '03-'06 AMG rear bumper be upfitted to the mesh? Or is there an aftermarket carbon fiber insert available

I hadn't realized the sl55 had the mesh too. Anyway, the sl500/600 with the AMG appearance package does not come with the rear bumper mesh. The sl55/65 bumper has wider exhaust openings so there may be retrofit issues. Question is has anyone tried
My sl500 w/amg pkg has the plastic insert which has begun to pull loose, tilting out at the top. So If I were to fix it anyway..
