Cargo Capacity
I am hoping someone can help me with this. I am looking into buying an 04 SL500 and was wondering about cargo capacity?

Can anyone tell me if it is possible to even fit two golf bags in the trunk?

2006 SL55 AMG
I wouldn't say an SL has "cargo" capacity. I'd say it has small parcel capacity. I can fit two small golf bags - walking bags, not cart bags - if I work at it, and sometimes I have to take the driver out and place it separately. And then, I can't put the top down. And there is no room for anything else so you have to wear your golf shoes while driving.

My golf bag fits, I just put the driver on my passenger seat floor and let it extend.
