Help: Center trim removal?

How do you get the center piece out?

Does it just snap out like a door panel?

Or do I need to remove some other side panles to get some clips off first?

Thanks...

1.You have to remove the side panels first, and they kinda snap out.
2.Then you'll see 3 screws on each side of the consol. Remove them.
3.Open the compartment between the seats, and lift the panel up at the back first.

This is for a 02-04 model. The newer ones with widescreen probably are different.

Good luck.

Hey G KATS, I too want the Carbon Fiber replacement (wood) trim but hesitate due to my not locating carbon fiber shifter knob and steering wheel trim. Do you have a source??

I am building a carbon fiber insert to replace the matte-black plastic insert on the rear bumper.. the portion between the left and right exhaust tips. It's aproximately 3 inches tall and 50 inches wide

ya that would look hype

as for the source ..... i dont have one . but theres some guy on here with a black 55 with red interior and all his trim is carbon fibre and it looks amazing

it takes away that grandfather feel and give it a tuff BADBOY look

Im sure if u go to some custom shops that sell bodykits etc..... they can either order it for u or make it for u from scratch .

good luck !
