New Member Here! Question: How do you view the Throttle Body?
Greetings everybody! A nice forum you all have here!
Anyways, I was wondering deeply about a question for some time in regards to my 2003 SL55 AMG. I have heard rumors that very early 2003 model year SL55s' had larger Throttle Bodies (80mm around) accidentally produced by Mercedes Benz thus allowing the vehicle to produce more than the advertised 493 horses and 516 ft lb torque.
Just curious though. How much power are these larger TBs making? And my SL is a 2003 model year. Shipped to me the day before January 1st, 2003. I believe it's the very first batch of SL55's in America so it counts as very early.
Better yet, can any member here post images of their throttle body or anything in terms of that if they don't mind? Thank!
