CLUSTER CHANGE to KM
hey guys im getting sick of reading MPH on the dash when down here in Toronto its KM . how much will it cost me to change my gauge or will i have to change everything !! ..... how much would this cost me ruffly ???.
has anyone ever have to do this ? i cant find nothing on the net either .

This is just from what I've heard, but you need to change the complete "speedometer clock".
I was told just that from my mercedes dealer, when I had an interest in a MB from the US a while ago...
The cost (that was for a SL65) here in sweden, is about $1500,-.
But, it's most likely, cheaper where you live...

I imported a sl55 from US into Canada and had to change the whole speedo head, however I was told by another member that he got his programing changed to go with the preference of key 1 and key 2. One key changes programming to MPH the other changes it to KPH. The head in Canada cost 1960.00 at the dealer. You may have to go south of the border to get the programing done though.
