Differences in SL55's?
I miss my 04 SL55 and want to buy a low mileage late model one (I have to confess I've thought of an SL600 too but am leaning to the AMG for obvious reasons). Was an LSD ever optional or std. in later years? Was the 80 TBD in 07 and after? Any other suggestions would be appreciated.

Hi, Pablo.
For the factory LSD you'll want a car with the 030 performance package. It's also not hard to add an aftermarket LSD--e.g. the Quaife LSD--if you find a car you like without the 030 package.
Not sure when the 80mm TB became standard.
My only other advice would be to buy CPO and get a max warranty.
