However, I still prefer to think for myself out here on the West Coast (something nearly extinct in this new-age day of hypocrisy).

Interesting review...
Always amused by exaggerated claims of how commonplace are high-end cars in LA.....
Even in BevHills/Malibu on sunny wkend PMs in mid-'07, one would see fewer 599s and/or CL63 030s vs what one could easily see on SF Peninsula on a mundane, cloudy/rainy wkday commute....
Perhaps not surprising, as SF mkt buys slightly more new Ferraris/yr than does LA region, even though LA region is 3x population.....
And I suspect one will see similar disproportionate phenomena w/jaded, repeat buyers who are migrating from CL63 030 and 599 to SL63 030 and Scuderia in Apr/May....
