Ordering a SL63

Does anyone here have a new SL63 on order? Did your dealer want over sticker? I have been looking at replacing my 2003 SL55 and I am considering ordering the new 63. Yesterday I drove a DB9 and I looked at an Audi R8 and a SL65 but I think the SL63 may be best for me.

2010 CL65
Had one of first three spots at my dealer (passed as I'm getting '09 CL65 instead....one of my colleagues who was further back on list took my SL63 030 spot).....have never paid more than MSRP at my dealer and am always offered early copies (@MSRP) of any poss interesting car....

Suspect dealers that charge over MSRP are simply reflecting fact that they lack a deep, recession-immune base of repeat buyers.....perhaps a combination of poor dealer service and a weak, "aspirational" economic region around dealer....most upscale buyers aren't going to Podunk to get an early copy at MSRP, esp when relevantly-located dealers like BH, Autobahn, Manhattan, etc treat their repeat buyers quite well.....

Good to know. Can I ask what about the CL you find more appealing? I am still considering a CL63 as well.

Agreed. I've never met anyone who paid over sticker for a car who didn't live to regret it. You feel like a sucker when resale time comes around; or within a few months when you read on boards like this how members are getting a bunch of money knocked off sticker.
