SL55 Headlight Failure...
The driver's side headlight on my '03 SL55 died out recently. Both high and low beam no longer work. Anyone experience this on an SL? Tried searching the archives with little success....
Am I more likely looking at replacing a ballast or entire headlight unit? I would assume it is not the bulbs as both high and low beam are out...
Is there any way to isolate the prob so I can determine what needs to be replaced?

Took the car to an Independant shop this morning...
Diagnosis came back as:
"CONTROL UNIT- LIGHT RANGE REGULATOR" Part Number: 2308201926
List price is allegedly over $1000.
Has anyone ever heard of this part?? Is it the ballast?
