SL55/63/65/R230 AMG: Some q's on 03 SL55 and 05 SL65

Some q's on 03 SL55 and 05 SL65
The SL55 needs new batteries. Once I have the new batteries which one do you connect to the "battery tender" to keep both batteries fully charged??? The brakes are feeling a bit mushy and don't grab like they used to but there is more then 50% pad left front and rear. I don't know much about the electro/hydrolic system on the R230 and was wondering if there is some maint that needs to be done on the hydro side to give back the correct pedal feel.
On the SL65. Is it normal to get an "ABC: Car too low" message when the car has been sitting for a number of days??? I just pushed the ABC button 3 times (raise, raise, lower) and that made the warning stop.
Is there a way to completely disable ESP on these cars. For example, on my BMW M-cars you could hold the button down for more then 10 seconds to completely turn off all traction aids.

i have a tender on the rear battery only. i think there was a dealer software upgrade for the brakes.
abc system has a leak and will drop. restarting and hitting button just raised the car. pressure leak is still there after a while. both problems should be fixed by a mb dealer.
