SL55/63/65/R230 AMG: Problems with the Johnson CM30 IC pump

Problems with the Johnson CM30 IC pump
Hello to all, Is there anyone out there that can provide some insight on this pump for me? It seems that the OEM BOCSH pump has three water ports but the Johnson cm30 pump come with two ports. I was instructed to clamp off the third hose and told that it was just a breather hose that served of no importance, I have a bad feeling about that and my SL55 shuts down at 120mph each and every time I get on her. My car should be able to hit 200mph with no problems at all, but that's not the case at this moment. So if there is anyone who has experienced the same problem please enlighten me, thank you in advance.

Yes but that pump has only two ports as well, but dont jump the gun just yet that might not even be the issue with my car, I might have other issues that's why i'm waiting for someone to post a reply that knows the real deal with these pumps for an 03 SL55 and why all aftermarket pumps come with two ports instead of three hummmm.
