07 SL55 P30 Designo - Sold, 06 E55 Wagon, 04 CLK55A - sold
Am thinking about buying an '07 SL55...
Although I have a lot of fun in my CLK55 Cab, I find that I rarely need the back seats & I've always loved the SL's. How much should I be prepared to spend on a fully loaded one (incl Performance Package), CPO with 9500 miles? I wonder if the '09 models are going to absolutely kill it's resale in say, 4 years? Thanks for your help!

I was just shopping '06/'07 SL55/600s and I'd say you can reasonable expect to get an '07 (with the AMG perf package) somewhere between $90-95k. The difference between the '06 and '07s and the readily available CPO cars lead me down the path of the '06s to save myself another $20k. I pick up my '06 SL600 today, and it was $68k (19k miles, warranty through March 2011).
BTW, the CLK63 cab was right at the top of my list during my search. For some reason, I ended up only having eyes for the SL...

Good luck finding an '07 SL55 P030 with very low miles (<5k) and CPO in the low $90's!
You may find one without P030 (very rare) at that price or high $80's but buyers pay a small premium for P030 (maybe $5-7k more).
