Hi
I just got my white SL55 last month~ and want to get a decklid spoiler. I've checked renntech, is the price there including paint? and is it self doable? or has to be done in a shop... if so, how much would they charge for labor?

I believe there are several here that have had good luck buying from here:

It comes painted and it's half the price of Renntech's. Of course, there's preference for style, but I can't tell the difference from the pictures on the computer. I'd have to see them in person.
If anyone has comments on Renntech's or the one above, I'm sure they'll jump in. (BTW, there's a link for "installation" when you pull up the link above)

I have the one that formymercedes sells. jLeviSW and Direct Sales and Design also sell the same spoiler. It does give the rear of the car a nice look but I would prefer the one on the SL63. So far nobody makes that spoiler as an aftermarket part. The installation is simple and one person can do it in about 10 minutes with the key being that you moisten the double sided tape so that if the placement is not perfect you can easily move it.
