SL55 Air Baffle
Hey guys,
I recently purchased an E55, which I haven't taken delivery of yet, but I am looking to upgrade the intake. After reading a lot about the changing the snorkels and/or the intake pipes I went to the dealership to see how it all fits together. As some people have noted online, the fitment isn't very good as the inlet pipe is too wide.
I decided to walk over to the showroom and see what the SL55 looked like under the hood and I noted that the "snorkel" piece was a different part number than the E55. This leads me to my question....
I am looking to purchase the air baffle that mounts onto the radiator (for an SL55) and also the "snorkel" pieces but I can't find the part number for the air baffle piece. The parts guy at my dealership wasn't able to find the piece in the computer.
I was wondering if someone with an SL55 could see if they can see it anywhere on the piece or if anyone knows the part # from a previous replacement or something.

I guess it could also be referred to as the intake duct or something..
