2003 SL55 electronics problems
I just tested a used 2003 SL55 and it had the follwing issues after having sat in the garage for a long time:
The roof wouldn't open, the passenger door didn't autmatically unlock and the steering whell height etc. couldn't get adjusted. There was a warning light on that the scondary?? battery was low - or something along these lines - could this be the cause for the roof etc. ?

Whatever there's gas in...
The battery being low I'd say most definately has to do with everything that you listed, have it trickle charged or get a new battery and test it again.
