$4K For SL65 AMG Rims&Tires?
I just bought a set of SL65 Rims and Tires(Michelins) W/3000 Miles on the set perfect shape. Is this a good deal, just curious? They look lovely!

SL65 WHEELS TIRES...
I have been watching and in the last three weeks several sets of SL65 wheels and basically new tires are selling for $2,700-3,100 for either the silver or titanium wheels. The silver wheels are usually CL65 or optional SL55 wheels. They are the same wheels with a few MM difference in the off-set.
There have been several sets advertized for $3,795-3,995 and they all remain unsold for the past 3 weeks.
There have even been a few sets with the optional 10 inch rears for the same $3,000 +/-price.
3,000 miles on the Michelins is about 35-50% of their tread life depending on how they were used..
So in answer to your question you probably paid about 20-25% too much..
But you got them immediately and sometimes that is worth alot extra...

Real AMG wheels. Like $ 3500.00. I paid a little more to a member that
a good friend knew. So it was worth the extra 200 not to worry.
And New Michelin PS2`s were like $ 1700.00 all the way around.
So with tires. Even used. Thats a smokin deal.

AMG wheel with tires are around 5k anyways if you like the factory look that's fine lots of people do. Can you get over market wheels and tires for around the same price. YES; The bottom line though are you happy with what you have purchase that's what it boils down too.

do you have TPMS
i bought my SL with some 20s on it, but i don't have any Tire Pressure Monitoring. do the AMGs you got have those? I like to check the tire pressure prior to a 150 MPH run
