Reset service reminder
I had instructions on how to reset the service reminder on my SL55 (2005). I thought I had them in the glove box but alas they are not there. I really do not want to go back to the dealer and want to reset it myself. Does anyone have the instructions. I have already done a search and what I have found does not work.

To reset the SERVICE light all you have to do is the following:
1. Turn the key to the ON position but do not start the engine.
2. In the mileage window, display the SERVICE "X" light. Press once.
3. Then press and hold for 3 seconds
The SERVICE light will go out. It will go to the next service schedule.

This works on my '03.......
To reset the SERVICE light all you have to do is the following:
1. Turn the key to the ON position but do not start the engine.
2. In the mileage window, display the SERVICE "X" light. Press once.
3. Then press and hold for 3 seconds
The SERVICE light will go out. It will go to the next service schedule.

sound 8 service reset
I have tried this and it works, but my next service should be an A service
and all it keeps coming up is B service. How do I change to A service.
