Can I replace the wood trim with CF?
I was just wondering if I find an SL55 that has everything I want except the carbon fiber trm if it can be replaced.

yes u can replace it....my 55 came with silver trim, i hate woodtrim . carbon fiber can look abit tacky .

The only wood that doesn't bother me is the black wood.

My ex-cars: 03 E55,04 C32, 05 C55 ,03 E320
I always wanted to change mine too...but it costs too much to get the CF interior. They are in the 2k range for the MP design one.

I was able to order a set from Mercedes' Designo department for an SL65 a couple years ago. The center console and door trim were about $3000. A little expensive, but true MB fit and finish. PM me if you are serious.
